DURKL FALL '09 HAT COLLECTION

Washington DC based DURKL presents its Fall '09 Hat collection. The capsule features 2 snapback caps and 2 winter pom beanies. The ribbon styled snapback colorways are inspired by baseball's Baltimore Orioles and the NFL's Detroit Lions. The Lion's colorway was produced in heather fleece for both style and comfort. Each of the roll up beanies feature a 3 color stripe, with a DURKL tag on the exterior. The hats will be available locally at Palace5ive skateshop and at the new DURKL Showroom, along with durkl.com.

The DURKL Fall ‘09 collection showcases the culmination of the brand’s recent move into their new showroom/warehouse/offices in the heart of Chinatown DC. In restoring a 1930’s taxi garage, the brand has taken an active role in uniting the Washington underground community around one creative space. The Fall '09 line draws inspiration from timeless American styles, ranging from vintage surf-wear to classic durable work-wear. Each garment in the line is highlighted by updated patterns and color palettes all featuring unique DURKL detailing. The collection consists of a variety of graphic tees, flannels, outerwear, and hats. The Fall '09 Lookbook was shot in and around the new headquarters with friends and artists from the DC area.

WE HAVE DECIDED TO START THIS COMPANY OFF RIGHT BY RELEASING A MIXTAPE SCHEDULED FOR EARLY NOVEMBER. THE TITLE HAS NOT YET BEEN DECIDED BUT WE ARE CURRENTLY WORKING ON THE BEATS FOR THE TAPE. THE MIXTAPE WILL NOT BE ANY OF US RAPPING BUT DOING WHAT WE DO BEST....PRODUCING!! IT WILL BE A MIXTAPE WITH ALL TRACKS PRODUCED BY US WITH DMV ARTISTS ON OUR TRACKS THIS IS GOING TO BE EPIC!!
